Hare Krishna, Hare Rama

Check out one of our newest chants, “Hare Krishna, Hare Rama" on Myspace.

This is audio of Dharmashakti and Kushala in Des Moines in 2009. Kushala built a new tool for looping audio and this was the first time they sat down to actually give it a shot.  Dharmashakti didn't know what he was going to sing when he sat down at the microphone, but this is what flowed.  Enjoy!  DHARMASHAKTI on MYSPACE.

“Have a great life.”

Yoga holds one simple promise for me. One idea, one focus and one hope. It is the idea that my life, this life, can be great.

In this great life, I can choose to inhabit excellence based on truth. I can manifest peace through my thoughts, words, deeds and actions. I can be free from expectations that I am anything more than a human being working to live in tranquility, and humility, with others and with myself

Through this great life, I am invited to be responsible for my choices and to create my life with virtue and purity as my teachers. In this life of choice, my achievements and setbacks are chances to put philosophy into action and to enjoy the fruit of my actions with every breath I take.

In this work, every student is a teacher; every teacher is a student. This is how we serve one another and how we serve ourselves.
